Welcome to my collection of guides. I have no intent on taking credit for these, just thought it'd be nice for other 2142 players to have a collection of Guides to help them play better.
Introduction: Well I was asked to put together a guide to help players in EG get better. Knowing that I am not the best player I will attempt to get guides from the best players I know of. Every player has a few (or a lot in some cases) secrets that make them special. By incorporating multiple views, styles and preferences, players of all skill and style can learn something. The guide will be set up from basics to advance. I am only focusing on assault because that is the kit I predominantly play and know. Players who play other classes can learn great things from these, but the focus is still on assault. This guide will probably be way to long, however, I’d rather give to much information. If the information starts getting monotonous then just scroll down to find more advanced stuff. One of the best players I know made a guide for Warrior Nation, a clan that was very good in TWL but also pubbed a lot. WNxRaiden made this for newer players in WNx but it has a lot of good information. I re-read it today and then started playing. Had a 50-1 and a 48-3 round back to back. So I will let WNxRaiden explain the basics of strategy. He only had the rough draft to his guide available but was nice enough to send it to me. These are my rough drafts. To date. I'll probably write for about a week, then edit. It would be nice if someone want's to cover a guide on their expertise. Guide is expanding and changing daily. However, the more places I can find other to do the writing labor the faster I can expand my guide. Have a Good One, Franchise Dec. 02, 08 For anyone looking for new information, know that I usually get it done at night around 8 o'clock. So if you have already visited the site, and want to check for more information, I would check at night or in the morning, but don't expect to see new material during the day. Franchise Dec. 03, 08 I added the videos Bomber suggested to the Franchise Approved Video Page. I'd suggest clicking on them and watching them through youtube with the new HD youtube. I think the clan mod is a great way to take half the strategy out of 2142 and I don't really play with or against eruopean players, so while they all play well, I don't know how good they really are compared to me and other NA players. I've also added more to the forum pages. I've tried to spice up some communication there. So feel free to post anything you want that you think might be intresting to discuss.
